Josephus NORMAN, aged 86 years, died Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock, after an illness of two weeks with typhoid fever. Mr. Norman was for years a prominent farmer of Perry township, Miami county, residing east of Macy and his death has cast a gloom over the vicinity. Besides a wife he leaves seven children. They are, John NORMAN, Mentone; Miles NORMAN, Mt. Zion; Mrs. Cynthia CLELAND, South Bend; Milo NORMAN, Macy; Mrs. Sarah BANKS, Miami county; Mrs. Elizabeth WHITNEY, Peru; Mrs. Rosa CASTLE, Rochester. The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the residence. Burial will be made in Shumaker's cemetery north of Gilead.
