WILL OF SOLOMON ALBAUGH (ALLBAUGH) transcribed by Erma Day Miami County, Indiana Will Book I, pg. 47-48 In the name of the Benevolent Father of all: I, Solomon Albaugh of Preble County in the State of Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament. I devise and bequeath unto John Albaugh, Daniel Albaugh, Zachariah Albaugh, Amos Albaugh, Anna Bigham (Bingham?) formerly Anna Albaugh, Juliana Glunte formerly Juliana Albaugh, Catherine Glunte formerly Catherine Albaugh, and Susan Albaugh my Brothers and Sisters in equal proportion, Share and Share alike all my lands and tenements wheresoever Situated, and all my personal goods, chattels, and  property of every description whatsoever to hold to them and their heirs forever- after paying my just debts and charges. I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother Daniel Albaugh Executor of this my last will and testament. I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made In testimony whereof  I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this eighth (8) day of September A.D. 1856 Solomon Albaugh                       (Seal) Signed and acknowledged by Said Solomon Albaugh as his last will and testament in our presence and Signed by us in his presence R. Effinger N.O .Ross State of Indiana Miami County Be it remembered that on the 7th day of May, 1857 personally appeared before the undersigned Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Miami County aforesaid Robert P Effinger and Nathan O Ross whose names appear attached to the last will and testament of Solomon Albaugh, late of Miami County Indiana , deceased, who being duly sworn on their Oaths say that they were present at the time the said Will was Executed and that Said decedent was of Sound disposeing [sic] mind and memory, and that he signed and declared the same as and for his last will and testament being fully aware  of its contents and that they the said deponents Signed the Same in the presence  of said testator and in the presence of each other and at the request  of the said testator--and further that said will  was signed  on the Eighth (8)th day of September A.D.1856 Signed R. Ross Subscribed and Sworn to May 7/57 Alex Blake Clerk p48 State of  Indiana Miami County I Alexander Blake Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Miami County certify that the within last will of Solomon Albaugh late of Miami County Indiana deceased, has been duly admitted to probate, that its due Execution  was  this day proven by Robert P. Effinger and Nathan O. Ross whose proofs together with Such will have been duly recorded on pages 47 & 48 of the Record of Wills in our office. Probate Order Book 2 p 132 Friday Nov 30, 1860      5th Day #2  Estate of Solomon Albaugh.  Comes now Daniel Albaugh executor of the estate of Solomon Albaugh by Mssrs. Ross and Effinger his attorneys. Files reports and vouchers, approved and filed. Shows balance in hands of exec as $413.03.  Cause continued. p178  Tuesday Nov 26, 1861    1st Day Daniel fully accounted for all monies.
