H. Stephens after the filing of an affidavit that he was dangerously insane. The affidavit was filed by Reynolds’ son-in-law, Burl Mitchell and set forth that Reynolds had threatened members of his family, was going about armed with rocks and making threats. An examination to determine his sanity will be held. Reynolds was committed to the Madison hospital for the insane in June, 1930, and was released on probation after three months’ treatment. He was finally discharged in April, 1931.
