Mrs. Oldham was born January 1, 1872 in Monroe County, the daughter of William and Nancy Lucas Deckard. Survivors include the husband, George W. Oldham, a patient at the Hazel Nursing Home here; a son, Alfred Miller, of Route 4; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Reynolds, of 104 ½ East Fifth Street; a brother, Oscar Deckard, of West Allen Street; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mrs. Oldham’s first husband, the Rev. George Miller, proceeded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Clear Creek Christian Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. W. C. Chafin. The body will remain at the Day Funeral Home until the service hour.
