An enterprising village in Montgomery county, on the Louisville, New Albany & Chicago railroad, six miles south of Crawfordsville, the county seat. It has a population of about 150. Its principal business is stock and wheat raising, but it has also a good saw mill and a large stave factory, employing about sixteen men, and consuming fifteen hundred cords of lumber annually.
