MARTINSVILLE.

The county seat of Morgan county, at the junction of the Cincinnati &
Martinsville and Indianapolis & Vincennes railroads. It contains about 1,600
inhabitants, and has a number of fine business blocks, maufacturing
establishments, etc. The court house is a building of much architectural beauty,
and an ornament to the place. The surrounding country is productive and well
settled by thrifty and enterprising farmers.
