The Franklin Democrat, Friday, June 25, 1897, Volume XXXVII, Number 50, page 1, column 6
Mrs. Eliza Hamilton, age 77 years, died Thursday morning of last week at her home
two miles west of 
Morgantown.  She was a sister of Dr. Curt Pritchard, of this city, and Wm. Pritchard
of Walker, Mo.  Death was 
due to dropsy and other complications.  She leaves seven children, two sons and five
daughters.  Funeral 
services were held Friday.  Interment at Mt. Nebo.
