FROM OVER THE COUNTY.
MORGANTOWN.

Elbert Lawrence died Dec. 26, of lung fever, after a short illness of one week.  He
was born at Hope, Ind., Jan. 
21, 1877, and moved here with his parents in 1884.  He was one of Morgantowns most
promising young men 
and was held in high esteem.  The funeral took place Tuesday at the M. E. church, of
which deceased was a 
consistent member, conducted by Rev. Elmer St. Clair, after which the remains were
laid to rest in the East Hill 
cemetery.
