The Franklin Democrat, Friday, May 15, 1891, Volume XXXI Number 47, page 6 column 2
MORGANTOWN

Christopher [sic] Miller, one of our most influential citizens died the first of the
month of lung fever.  
Mr. Miller was a man who was widely known and who was honorable and upright in all
his dealings.  
Deceased leaves a wife and five children.  The interment took place at the German
church, the 
services being conducted by Rev. West of Martinsville.
