The Franklin Democrat, Friday, January 6, 1899, Volume XXXIX, Number 26, page 1, column 3
Samuel Musser, who has resided with his son, Robert Musser, near Waverly, for many
years, died Sunday, 
being almost 100 years of age.  He was born April 14, 1799, and was the oldest man
in Morgan county.
