MORGANTOWN
Miss Blanch[e] Sprague died on the evening of the 3rd inst. [this month] of spinal
disease.  She had 
been sick for about five months and had suffered a great deal but she bore it
without a murmur.  Miss 
Sprague was a promising young lady and was highly respected.  The funeral took place
from the M.E. 
church on Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock, the services being conducted by Rev.
McCown, 
after which she was laid beside her mother.
