James Baker Grave From the Cemetery Records compiled by the Lost River Chapter DAR Stampers Creek Township Sec. 2-T. 1N.-R.1.E. Abandoned This lone grave is a short distance northeast of the Old Methodist graveyard, in the southeast corner of the northwest quarter of the section. The head stone is broken and leans against a large oak tree. James Baker died soon after coming from Kentucky with his family. Mar Davis Baker, his wife, was a daughter of Thomas Davis, a Revolutionary Soldier. She is buried in the Old Town Cemetery at Paoli. The late Arthur I.
