COX FAMILY GRAVES From the Cemetery Records compiled by the Lost River Chapter DAR Transcribed by Karen Hugo Jackson Township Sec 8, T-1-S, R-2-W Seldom used. On the road to Elon is this little group of graves, on a hillside, marked by a cedar tree. The land was deeded by Willis Cox for a public burying ground, but has been used only for the family. Mrs. Cynthia Ann Weaver Hentgen, dau of Willis Cox, died at Valparaiso, Ind., 2 May 1945, at the age of 76 years and was brought here for burial. Four of her young children had been buried here several years ago. There are 3 stones with inscriptions: COX, Lucretia; dau of Willis and Mary, 12 Sep 1880-Oct 1881. COX, Willis; 10 Jun 1841-16 Feb 1913.
