On a steep slope, north of the Faucett Tavern site, is a lone grave, marked by a heavy stone slab, with crudely cut inscription, which marks the grave of Michael Miller's wife. Later George Faucett came from North Carolina, acquired the land and maintained a tavern where the stage coach horses were changed, this being an old spur of the New Albany-Vincennes stage road.
