"Marriage License, State Of Indiana, Parke County, S.S.  The State of Indiana 
to any person Empowered by Law to Solemnize Marriage Greeting:  You are hereby 
authorized to join together as Husband and Wife Joseph Ray Elkins and Joyce 
Lorraine Clore and of your Certificate of Marriage make due return within 
three days according to the laws of the State of Indiana.  Witness, Helen 
McMurtrey Clerk of the Parke Circuit Court and the seal thereof affixed this 
13 day of December A.D. 1947.  Signed: Helen McMurtrey, Clerk of Parke Circuit 
Court.  State of Indiana, Parke County, S.S.: I, R.Richmond Blake of said 
County hereby certify that on the 13 day of December A.D. 1947, I joined in 
marriage Joseph Ray Elkins and Joyce Lorraine Clore by authority of Law and of 
a License from the Clerk of the Parke Circuit Court.  Given under my hand this 
13 day of December A.D. 1947.  Signed: R. Richmond Blake, Minister; No. 25."
