John Noble Will In the name of God amen. The first of all I will my soul
to God for the love and good will, I bequeath and gave unto my wife
Elisabeth Noble all that parsel or lot of land lying on the west side of
the big racoon Creeke begining at corner near the foard usely calld Hines
foard the south west corner of said tracke of the North east quarter of
the south east quarter of section twenty eight in township fifteen north
of range six west in the district of Crawfordsville thence thence runing
east to the creeke thence following the creeke banke to the mouth of the
race thence following the race to James Low and Ephraim Low's corner near
the mill thence following the above said Low's line to the Creeke thenc
following the creeke to my east and west line to have and hold so long as
she remains my widow for her sepoar and all the rest of my cleared land I
want it rented out and allso I want her to have all the house hoald and
kichen furniture and halfe of the live stocke so long as she remains my
widow and after my debts and funeral expences is paid for the love I
bequeath and gave to my brother Thomas Noble wone dollar allso I abequeath
and (page 27) gave unto my sister Martha Blake wone dollar allso I
bequeath and gave to my brother Allen Noble wone dollar also I bequeath
and gave unto my sister Sarah Hines wone dollar allso I bequeath and gave
to my brother Joseph Nable wone dollar allso I bequeath and gave unto my
brother Harrison Noble wone dollar allso I bequeath and gave unto my
brother Clarke Noble wone dollar and I want all the rest of my cleard land
rented out as I naimd above and for the love I have. I bequeath and gave
unto Elvira Mershon and Nancy Patterson all my land which contains nine
hundred and sixty acre after the death of my wife Elizabeth by their
giving my beloved Winnaann Patterson nine hundred and fifty dollars allso
the proffits of the rented land I bequeath and gave unto Elvira Mershon
and Nancy Patterson and Winny Ann Patterson all the live stock personal
property house hoald and kichen furniture to be soald and divided amongst
the three girls after the last funeral expences is paid the above land
with the above land numbered of the North east quarter of the south east
quarter of the south east quarter of section twenty eight in township
fifteen north of raing six west in Union township Parke County of the
south east quarter of the north east quarter of section twenty eight in
township fifteen north of range six west in Union township Parke County
Ind of the south west quarter of the north east quarter of section twenty
eight township fifteen north of range six west Union township Parke County
Ind. Of the north west quarter of section twenty seven in township fifteen
north of range six west Parke County Ind. I being in good health and
perfect in mind have wrote my last will and testament whereas I set my
hand and seal this the twenty fourth of June in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fourty four.
