Parke County Indiana p. 77 Will of William Noble In the name of God Amen, I William Noble of Parke County and State of Indiana being in tolerably good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory (praised be God for the same) and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs whilst I have strength and capacity so to do, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made, and first and prinicpally I commit my soul into the hands of my creater; who gave it and my body to the earth and as to such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased god to entrust me with I dispose of the same as followeth, that is to say first I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Hannah, the third of my home place where I now live, and one third of my personal property as long as she remains a widow. I do also give and bequeath unto my eldest son John Noble the sum of fifty dollars which he owes to me. I do also give and bequeath unto my second son Thomas p. 78 Noble the sum of fifty dollars which he now owes to me. I do also give and bequeath unto my daughter Marthy Ray one half of the bottom Land with two acres the advantage the said land to be taken of the south end of the West half of the southwest quarter of Section No thirty four in Township No fifteen North of Range N osix west I do also give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Noble forty three acres of land of the south end of the West half of the North East quarter of section twenty three in Township fifteen North of Range six west in the district of land subject to sale at Crawfordsville Indiana I do also give and bequeath unto my son Allen Noble forty acres of land of the south end of the East half of the South east quarter of section No thirty four in Township No fifteen North of Range No Six west in the district of land subject to sale Crawfordsville, Indiana. I do also give and bequeath unto my daughter Sally Hines fifty dollars in money so soon as it can be made after my decease, the money to be made out of my personal property I do also give and bequeath unto my son Harrison Noble forty acres of land of the North end of the east half of the South east quarter of section thirty four in Township No fifteen North of Range No six west in the District of land subject to sale at Crawfordsville Indiana if the aforesaid forty acres should be considered to not be worth so much as the forty I have given and bequeathed in this will to son Allen Noble it is my wish tht there should be given to Harrison in money that may be adjudged to be the difference in value of the aforesaid land to be considered at Government price, and paid as soon as it can be made from my personal property after my decease. I do also give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Noble the ballance of the west half of the south west quarter of section No. thirty four in Township No fifteen North of Range No six west in the district of land subject to sale at Crawfordsville Indiana, after Marthy Ray gets her share of said half quarter as bequeathed to her by this will and I do also give and bequeath unto my youngest son Clark Noble the ballance of my home place where I now live, after my wife's third part is taken and all after her decease, or marriage, and I do hereby appoint John Noble and Joseph Noble, my sons executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the twentieth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three. Martin and Bushrod A. Martin subscribing witnessess to the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of William Noble late of the said county deceased and made oath that they saw the said William Noble sign and seal the same that they heard him publish and declare the same to be his last will and testament & at the time of its execution he was of sound & disposing mind memory and understanding that they subscribed their names thereto as witnesses in presence of said testator and at his request.
