Perry County Indiana Land Record Book A --Page 286--May 2, 1829 This Indenture made and entered into this second day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty nine, Between Hiram Hobbs and Sabra his wife and Wilson Hifil and Jane his wife of Perry County and State of Indiana of the one part and Christopher Kitterman of said County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witness that the said Hiram Hobbs and Sabra his wife and Wilson Hifil and Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy five dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge, Have bargined and sold and by these present do hereby bargin and sell to the said Christopher Kitterman a certain Tract or Parcell of land containing eighty acres lieing in the said County of Perry on the water of the Little Hurricane Fork of the Anderson River. Known by the west half of the South west quarter of Section 25 in township three south of range three west in the District of Lands offered for sale at Vincennes subject however to the Dower of Margaret Hifil and Elenders share excepted. To have and to hold the said tract or part thereof with its appertainances to the said Christopher Kitterman and his heirs forever, to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Christopher Kitterman and the said Hiram Hobbs and Wilson Hifil do further convant and agree with the said Christopher Kitterman that they will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid tract of Land on or parts there of with appertainances to the said Christopher Kitterman against the said Hiram Hobbs and Wilson Hifil and our heirs against the claims of every other person whatsoever. Alfred Critchfield Justice of Peace Seal Perry County, Indiana--Book 7, Page 269--April 25, 1873 This Indenture Witnesseth, that we Christopher Kitterman and Elizabeth Kitterman of Perry County in the State of Indiana Convey and Warrant to Clark Township Perry County Indiana for the sum of five dollars the following Real Estate, in Perry County in the State of Indiana to wit: One square acre for the purpose of a grave yard which is all ready in use for such, in the North West quarter of the South West quarter of Section twenty five in Township No three South of Range three West, one acre. Kellems and Nancy Kellems, his wife, and John Beard and Sarah Beard, his wife, and George Kitterman and Cornelia Kitterman, his wife and William Carter and Susan Carter, his wife, and John Shoemaker and Joanah Shoemaker, his wife, and Elizabeth G. Kitterman all of Perry County and State of Indiana and William Blunk and Malinda Blunk, his wife, of Crawford County state of Indiana do convey and give claim and Deed unto David Kitterman of Perry County, Indiana for the sum of ten dollars in hand paid to the above named heirs of George Kitterman Senior Deceased, The Real Estate in Perry County, Indiana Described as follows, to wit: the East half of the south East quarter of section twenty-two in Township three South of Range three West in the District of Lands subject to sale at Vincennes, Ind. containing eighty acres be the same more or less, With the appertentances to hold the same unto him and his heirs or assigns forever. They sell to william Carter, their brother-in- law. This Indenture witnesseth that Emily Kitterman and Eliza M. Kitterman in Perry County in the state of Indiana Convey and Warrant to William Carter of Perry County and State of Indiana for the consideration of Twenty dollars their interest in the following real estate situate in Perry County in the State of Indiana to wit: The North East quarter of the South East quarter of Section Twenty Two in Township Three South of Range three West and the South East quarter of the South East quarter of Section Twenty Two Township three South of range Three West containing Eighty Acres.
