All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/in/infiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Darrell Manrique findegil@gmail.com July 3, 2011, 4:21 pm Written: September 25, 1832 Recorded: September 26, 1832 This Indenture made this twenty fifth day of Sept one thousand eight hundred and thirty two between Catlet Proctor and Hannah his wife of the County of Putnam and State of Indiana of the first part and George Proctor of the County aforesaid and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged have granted bargained sold enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain or parcel of Land situate Lying and being in the Township of Clinton in the County of Putnam and State afore said containing ninety one acres and thirty hundreths of an acre and is the East half of the North East quarter of Section four in Township sixteen north of range five West in the district of lands offered for sale at Crawfordsville In and Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtinances there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and the reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the sale right title interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in Law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtinances To have and to hold the said premises above particularily mentioned and described [smudge] said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and [smudge] Catlet Proctor doth for himself his heirs executors and administators Covenant and grant to and with said party of the second part his and assigns that they the said Catlet Proctor and Hannah his wife in their right are lawfully siezed in fee of the Aforesaid granted premises that they are free from all incumbrance that they have good right to sell & Convey the same to the said party of the second part as Aforesaid and that he will and his heirs executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever against all lawful demands of all persons.
