OSGOOD.

A growing town in Ripley county, on the Ohio & Mississippi railroad, fifty-two
miles from Cincinnati, and five from Versailles, the couity seat. It was laid
out in 1856, and now has a population of about 700. It has good churches,
schools, &c., with a fair representation of the different trades and professions.
