Ripley County Indiana This Indenture made The 2nd day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourty three between Comfort Fuller of the County of Ripley State of Indiana of the first part and Benjamin Manlief of Dearborn County State of Indiana of the second part witnesseth that the said Comfort Fuller for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifteen dollars lawful money of the United States to him in hand well and truley paid by the said Benjamin Manlief the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold conveyed and conferred and by these presents does grant bargain sell convey and confirm and to the said Benjamin Manlief his heirs and assigns forever the following tract of land situated in the County of Ripley State of Indiana being lot number one in fractional sections number four in township number eight north of range number nineteen east containing sixty one and seventy one hundreths of an acre of land be the same more or less and all the estate right of title intense claim and demand of him that said Comfort Fuller of in and to the said premises and every part thereof together with all and singular the privailedge and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the rents issues and proffits thereofto have and hold the premises hereby bargained and sold or ment or intended so to be with the appurtinances to the only proper use and behoof of the said Benjamin Manlief his heirs and assigns forever and the said Comfort Fuller for himself his heirs executors and administrators doth corenant promise and agree to and with the said Benjamin Manlief his heirs Executors administrators and assigns that he is the true and lawful ownerof the premises hereby granted and has good right and full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the parcel in mammer and form aforesaid and further that he the said Comfort Fuller his heirs Executors and administrators will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises with their appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof unto the said Benjamin Manlief his heirs and assignsagainst all persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him them or any or by from or under any other persons whosoever be witness whereof the said Comfort Fuller has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written and sealed and delivered in presence of Daniel A.
