He formerly was a resident of Temple Hill. He is survived by one son, Bernard W. Lynch, of Milford, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine E. Halligan of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. J. B. Skahill of Washington township. He served three years in the civil war, being Orderly Seargeant in Company G, 121 Indiana Volunteers. He was a blacksmith by trade, but retired from active work several years ago. Additional Comments: Joseph is buried at Cliff Hill Cemetery. His stone/marker indcates he served in the 123rd Indiana Infantry.
