Orville Hopper Injured In Auto Accident

            Orville Hopper was brought to the Clinic Saturday evening 
suffering from a badly crushed arm and other injuries received in an auto 
accident on south Main Street.

            He was given first aid and then taken to the Marine hospital at 
Louisville for further treatment. It was feared that amputation might be 
necessary.

            It is reported that he had recently been discharged and had re-
enlisted. The accident was said to have been caused by Hopper’s car 
sideswiping a truck parked, and then overturning and hitting the fence near 
the sale barn.
