Shelby County Indiana will King Parish will I, King Parrish (Parish) of the county of Shelby and State of Indiana do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows to wit: It is my wish and will that Mariah Parrish my beloved wife pay and discharge all of my just Debts as soon after my Death as is practicable. It is my wish and will and I do hereby sill and bequeath to my wife Mariah Parrish all of my personal and Real Estate to her as long as she remains my widow, she is to have all rents from all the lands I have, she is to pay all taxes on the Real and personal property and to Keep the farm up in order. In case if my said wife shall marry again, my Executor hereinafter mentioned is to take charge of all rents and Real Estate belonging to my Estate and sell as soon as practicable and pay to my wife one child's part, she can have what personal property might be on hand at the time and do as she wish with it and at my Death my wife can sell what stock she thinks best to do and take charge of all moneys and use the same for her support and the residue of my Estate the said Executor is to divide equally among my children to wit: Ruth J. Graham, John F. Parish, Frances W. Hutsel, Thomas L. Parish, Liza A. Murphy, William H. Parish, Lieu C. Seignior, Emma Hittle heirs, Jesse K. Parish, Lee M. Parish, Jennie Hunter, Catharine McCollum, Ebb w. Parish and Mary I. Toon, except all of my said sons and sons in law that I may have notes or accounts on, they are to pay the principal of the notes and the amount of interest I paid on the note, (no interest) after I paid the note out of their part of the Estate first and the said Executor to pay them the Balance coming to them after all Debts are paid. And if my wife remains a widow, at her death, my Executor is to take charge of all Real and personal property and sell as he may think best, accounting to his own judgement about it, at public or private sale. I do hereby nominate and appoint my friend Caleb F. Means as my executor to carry into effect this my last Will and Testament.
