Ebersole, David Hepler and Niels Rasmussen, All of South Bend, Succumb Suddenly. Three South Bend Men have dropped dead from heart trouble within the last 24 hours, a circumstance probably never before duplicated in this city. The victims are: ANDREW A. EBERSOLE, aged 65, of 1130 East Calvert street, a laborer. DAVID HEPLER, aged 59, of 124 North Spruce street, foreman at Oliver Chilled Plow works. NIELS RASMUSSEN, aged 70, of 525 North Studebaker street, a retired farmer...Friends of Mr. Ebersole were not aware that he was ill until they observed him drop suddenly onto a pile of cloth. Cobert Webster reached his side as he gasped his last. Death was practically instantaneous. A physician who arrived 20 minutes later pronounced him lifeless. His remains were taken to his home. Coroner E. A. Martin viewed the remains this afternoon. Mr. Ebersole appeared to be a man of good health, having worked regularly for three years at the woolen plant. He came to South Bend from Wakarusa. He is survived by a widow, at home; two step-sons, H. D. Farmer, of South Bend, and H. M. Farmer of Laporte, Ind. Two sisters, Mrs. Dennis Walford and MRs. F. Walford, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and two brothers, John Ebersole, of Columbia City, Ind., and Calvin Ebersole (of Alberta Can???) also survive.....
