South Bend Tribune, 9 Jan 1924
 Christian Hepler, age 83, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ella 
Spencer, in Oklahoma City, OK, Saturday, according to word received here.  He 
is survived by four children, Mrs. Spencer, of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Anna 
Stickley, Mrs. Bessie Sumption and George Hepler, all of South Bend.  Burial 
was in Oklahoma City.
