South Bend Tribune, 3 Dec 1918
Mrs. Melvin Hepler, 917 North Main Street, died at her home Monday afternoon 
at 3:35 o'clock, following a week's illness with pneumonia.  She was formerly 
Miss Belle McMillan and was born in Canada on July 19, 1882, being 36 years 
old.  She came to Mishawaka 14 years ago. In 1907 she married to Melvin Hepler 
who survives with a son, Darwin.  She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Archie 
McMillan, Gladwin, Mich., two brothers, Robert McMillan, Detroit, Mich., 
Archie McMillan, South Dakota and a sister, Mrs. Frank Jackson, Detroit.  She 
was a member of the Pythian Sister Lodge.
