 LIFE RESIDENT SUCCUMBS HERE - MRS. SCUYLER C. LESLIE DIES AT AGE OF 66. - 
Eight Months Illness Proves Fatal to Aged Woman - Funeral Services at 
Residence Thursday - Mrs. Schuyler C. Leslie, age 66, a lifelong resident of 
Mishawaka, died at 3:45 o'clock this morning at her home, 724 East Fifth 
street, of complications, following an illness of eight months.  She was born 
in Madison township, this county, April 15, 1857 and was married to Schuyler 
Leslie, Sept. 23, 1879.  Surviving her are her husband; one brother, Elmer 
Hawkins, Wyatt, Ind.; three sons, John and Ralph of Mishawaka, and Walter of 
Kalamazoo, Mich.; and one daughter, Mrs. Leo Cross, Mishawaka.  Funeral 
services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the residence, 
Rev. Sylvia Shafer of the Christian Spiritualist church of South Bend 
officiating.  Burial will be in the Ferrisville cemetery.
