St. Joseph Valley Register, Thurs. May 27, 1875, page 2 col. 3

	Mrs. Mary Stephens, widow of Peter Stephens, died on Saturday morning, May 22d,
at 2 A.M., after a long and severe illness.  Funeral was held at the
Presbyterian Church, on Sumption’s Prairie.  Rev. Henry Finch preached the sermon.
