THE MORTUARY RECORD: Sarah Stevens
     	Mrs. Sarah Stevens died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ada
Buckles, 527 East Monroe street.  Her death was the result of a complication of
disease due to her advanced age.
	Mrs. Stevens was 75 years of age and was born in Niles, Mich., May 18, 1836.
    	Mrs. Stevens is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Buckles of his city, Mrs.
A.J. Berger, of Danville, Ill. and Mrs. Cora Ryther of Pasadena, Cal.  Her
husband Chauncey Stevens, died three years ago.  Mrs. Stevens was a resident of
South Bend for 20 years.  Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2
o'clock at the residence.  Interment will follow in Riverview cemetery.  Rev.
H.B. Hostetter will officiate at the services.
