Broadway, died Tuesday evening in Epworth Hospital where he had been ill since Sunday. He was born in South Bend and lived here his entire life. He was employed as a painter by Studebaker Corporation. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bessie Sumption; two sons, Robert of Detroit Mich., and Fed at home; two brothers, Robert Sumption and George Sumption both of South Bend and three sisters, Mrs. John Saddison and Mrs. Elmer Peterson, South Bend, and Miss Addie Sumption of New Carlisle. The body will lie in residence until funeral services at 2:30 Friday afternoon from the residence. Burial in Bowman cemetery. He was a member of St Joseph Lodge, No. 45, F.&A.M. of the Improved Order of Redmen and the Woodmen of the World.
