He was born in Alsace- Lorraine, Germany, Oct 20, 1839 and came to this country when a child. Mr. Wahl was united in marriage at Woodland, Ind., in 1861, to Miss Elizabeth Fulfer, who died in February 1920. Surviving are two sons, William of this city, and Ezra, of Center township, a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Warner, of Center township, and one sister, Mrs. Eva Andrews, of South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the residence from where the body will be taken to Woodland where services will be held at 2:30 o'clock at the Lutheran church. Rev. Otto Turk will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
