MRS. PHILLIP WAHL DIES - Succumbs Following Short Illness - Funeral Monday 
Afternoon - Mrs. Phillip Wahl, aged 83 years, died at 12:30 o'clock this 
morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Warner, six miles south of 
South Bend.  Mrs. Wahl is survived by three children, two sons, Ezra Wahl, 
Centre township, and William Wahl, of Mishawaka, and one daughter, Mrs. Frank 
Wahl, at whose home she died.  She was born April 22, 1837, in Ohio and came 
to South Bend in 1849, where she resided until her death.  Mrs. Wahl was 
married in 1861 to Philip Wahl, who survives, her maiden name being Elizabeth 
Fulmer.  The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the 
residence and at 2 o'clock at the Woodland Lutheran church.  Burial will be 
held in Woodland cemetery.
