South Bend Tribune 22 Mar 1930
Ezra Wahl, age 61, a lifelong resident of St. Joseph county and for many years 
a farmer in this vicinity, died Friday afternoon in his home on the Turkey 
Creek road, Center township.  His death followed a year's illness.  He was 
born in Penn township, July 27, 1868.  Surviving are two children, Mrs. Edna 
Britton and Hallie Wahl, and one grandson, Robert Britton, all at home; one 
sister, Mrs. Frank Warner, of Center township, and a brother, William Wahl, of 
Mishawaka.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 
o'clock in Grace Methodist Episcopal church with Rev. C. Harold Clerke, pastor 
officiating.  Burial will be made in Southlawn cemetery.
