  LEACH, Antoinette D., attorney at law, was born in the City of Indianapolis
April 3, 1859; came to Sullivan, Ind., in 1870; graduated at Ascension Seminary,
Sullivan, in 1875; taught in the public schools of Sullivan four years; married
Geo. W. Leach in 1879; was court stenographer from l885 to 1850 [sic]; took up
study of law in 1888 and was admitted to the bar in 1893, she being the first
woman admitted to practice law in Indiana.
