  WILLIS, WILLIAM, engaged in the real estate, insurance and loan business in
Sullivan, was born in Crawford County, Ill., in 1850. He came to Sullivan County
in 1857. He served as trustee of Gill Township two terms, and was elected County
Auditor in  1886 and re-elected in 1890.
