Probate Order Book No 6 Page 538 Distribution of estate of George Hunter, 
shows 8 heirs viz: 1. Jane Sutherland
2. Johanna Ann Merrill
3. James Hunter
4. Susan Hunter
5. Sarah Mills, a sister, died before him & left surviving her, her husband 
Edward Mills & 5 children viz Hope Mills, John Mills, James Mills, Ruth Jacob 
& Lydia Davis. Hope Mills is decd leaving a widow & 2 children.
6. Nancy Jennings, a sister died before him leaving her husband, Lambert 
Jennings & 2 children, William Bird & Eliza Small.  Eliza Small is dead 
leaving 8 children viz: William Brisben, Jane Brisben, Edna Small, Lillian 
Small, Cort Small, Bird Small, Cora Small & one whose name can't be had.
7. Rachel Bell, a sister, died since her said brother leaving 4 children viz: 
Mary Underwood, George Bell, Eliza Bradley & Margaret Barnes.  Mary Underwood 
left 2 children viz: George Underwood & one whose name can't be ascertained.
8. Phoebe Hilton, a sister died before him leaving 3 children viz: Samuel 
Hilton, James Hilton & one whose name can't be ascertained.
States that Johanna Ann Merritt assigned her share to David Dyer.
Jane Sutherland also assigned hers to David Dyer.  This proceeding is dated 
Feby 3, 1876.
