Ia Obituary, Koons Taken from Vevay Reveille Paper dated 16 May, 1912 Obituary: Prudence Ann (Durbin) Koons     Mrs. Prudence Koons, one of Patriot's oldest and well known citizens,     died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Missouri Bailey, a short distance     above town, Wednesday Morning.  Rev. Lowe had charge of the funeral     which was held at the Baptist Church, Thursday.  The body was laid to     rest in the East View Cemetery beside that of her husband, who proceeded     her to the Great Beyond.  Prudence Durbin was born in Ohio County,     Indiana, February 14, 1827, and was married to Jacob Koons in 1847.     To this union was born 14 children, six of whom survived her.  During     her earlier years she united with the church and was ever a faithful     and devoted worker in the church work.  "Aunt Prudy", as she was better     known, was loved and respected by all who knew her, and she will be     greatly missed by a host of friends and relatives. NOTE:     Prudence Ann (Durbin) Koons was the daughter of Raful & Hannah (Arnold)     Durbin.     Daughter Missouri Bailey was Missouri Ann (Koons) Bailey, wife of     John Bailey.     Jacob Koons was Jacob Anderson Koons, son of Benjamin Koons of Penn.     Prudence Ann (Bailey) Miller was named after Prudence Ann (Durbin) Koons
