SWITZERLAND COUNTY, INDIANA MARRIAGE RECORDS P. 172 On the Twelth day of September AD One Thousand eight hundred and twenty eight on the affidavit of Noah Holbert I Israel R Whitehead Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County of Switzerland granted Garrett Going and Mahulda Foley Marriage Licence in these words State of Indiana Switzerland County SS To any person authorized by law in Said County know ye that I Isrel R Whitehead Clerk of the Circuit Court of Said County by Virtue of the authority by Law in me Vested grant Garrett Going of Said County and Mahulda Foley of the Same County Licence to be married together in the Holy State of matrimony as Husband and Wife In Testimony whereof I hereto Set my hand and the Seal of Said Court at Vevay this Tenth day (Seal) of September AD.
