Mrs. Amelia Applebach passed away Saturday morning at the home of Mrs. E. 
Powell after an illness of a week's duration from pneumonia. Mrs. Applebach 
had been a resident of this county for fifty-five years. She was born on July 
6, 1841, at Ballietsville, O. Mrs. Applebach had made her home with Mrs. 
Powell for several years prior to her death. She was a member of the Salem 
Reformed church and had many friends. Two sons survive, Frank Applebach, of 
Fort Wayne, and Charles Applebach, of Paroda, Mich. The funeral will be 
conducted from the Powell residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock and the Rev. 
O. R. McKay will officate. The interment wil be made in Springvale cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Amelia Landes Applebach was the daughter of Aaron and Mary (Polly) Landes, she 
was born in Ballietsville, Lehigh Co, PA - she married William Applebach.
