   JESSE McCOLLEY, son of James and Caroline (McMahon) McColley, was born
November 10, 1845, in Shelby County, Ind., and spent his boyhood days in his
native county. He engaged in farming in Shelby County until 1876, when he
removed to Tipton County and purchased a farm of forty acres in Cicero Township,
where he has since resided and followed agricultural pursuits. Mr. McColley was
married in 1875 to Miss Delia McColley, who died June 4, 1877. He is a
wide-awake, energetic farmer, and a worthy citizen.
