WAMSLEY was born in Franklin County, Ind., December 28, 1850, and is the son of Lawrence N. Wamsley. He was reared on a farm in his native county, and engaged in agricultural pursuits when he began life for himself. He owned a farm of sixty-three acres in Franklin County, and continued farming there until August, 1880, when he sold his farm and removed to Tipton County. Here he purchased 100 acres of land in Section 33, Cicero Township, and has since added sixty acres. He has 120 acres under cultivation and well drained. He was married, December 28, 1876, in Franklin County, Ind., to Miss Lydia Gephart. They have a family of three children-Irena May, Alton L. and Wilber.
