GRANGE ASSOCIATION.

   In 1876, the Tipton County Grange Association was organized with a capital
stock not to exceed $20,000, the organization to last five years. All necessary
officers were appointed, but for some reason the organization did not come up to
the hopes of its founders and friends. The following was the grange directory
within three or four years after the organization of the association:
