Normanda Liberty Guards
NORMANDA LIBERTY GUARDS

    The Normanda Liberty Guards were organized September 10, 1917, with Frank E.
Watson, Captain, M. E. Stoops, 1st Lieutenant and Hobart Jones 2nd Lieutenant. The
company met weekly for drills and instruction, becoming thoroughly proficient for
home guard duty. The following roster shows the names of those who were regular
attendants at drills and meetings:

Merle Fearnow, Bmil Fearnow, Ed Foutch, Roy T. Graham, Dempsey Goodnight, Garnet

Hughes, Cliff Jones, George Jones, Karl Jones, Carl Jones, Hobart Jones, Bernie
Kelley, Harold Mott, Gene Mott, Herbert Mahaffy, Luke Park, Frank Park, Guy
Pritchard, Sam Redd, Joseph Rayls, Albert Richey, Robert Ricketts, George Reed,
William Stevenson, William Stafford, Manville Stoops, Fred Smith, Wendell Smith,
Frank Watson, Dewey Watson, Herbert Watson, Garrett Whitehead, O. F. Wheatley, Dale
Mott.
