Unknown Co, IN CW Invalid Application Synopsis Submitted by:  Darlene O'Ruairc  (do'ruairc106044@comcast.net) David/Davis Ruark/Roark First assigned to the 37th Indiana Volunteers on Nov. 1, 1864 at Evansville, Ind.  Mustered out of the 37th while on duty at Fayetteville, N.C. and transferred to the 74th Regiment, Indiana Infantry, Company B.  On June 2, 1865 the 74th regiment was disbanded and he was transferred to the 22nd Indiana Volunteer Regiment near Washington, D.C.  He mustered out of the service on July 24, 1865 in Louisville, KY.  He filed for a pension in 1898 and eventually received an allotment of $12.00 a month.
