John West was at our house and gave us a leter that he had got from you so that was the first time that we new whare to find you. So we will try to inform you of the past. The strong hand of death has come and taken one of our beloved from our midets, a fond mother and a kind sister, your sister Amandy she died on the 26 of March three years ago. We rote to you to lit you no but could get no answer from you. She left a litell girl. Her name is Ada, she is very smart litell girl. John is still single, we new of the deth of your wife but dident no that you ware marid until we red your liter to John. John is as fat and dirty as ever. We here from the boys. We got a liter from Irvan today he is well. Harmon is with Mary a keeping old bach while Mary and her man is traveling for there helth. We dont no any thing about Allen the last we now of him he was in Origon and had started back to Indiana but has never got here, it has bin nerly three years since we hurd from him. Christ right too us and tell us all about youre family and how meny children and there names and if you are a living a plesant life. How meny children have you by youre first wife and how meny by youre present lady in fact give me all the news. I will close by telling you my childrens names. The oldest too are girls. The oldest is Emma Jane and the other is Mary Ida and the boy is Hary. He is the baby he seven and half years old. We still remain yourse as ever. R. E. & V. A.
