When he was ten years of age his father moved his family to Wayne County, and settled on the farm where our subject still resides, his father now living in Boston Township. Homer Farlow has followed farming through life, and has a farm of 194 acres of choice bottom land with first-class buildings. He makes a specialty of breeding the Poland China hogs, and is classed among the successful cattle raisers of Centre Township. May 31, 1868, he was married to Eliza C. Railsback, a native of Wayne County, and daughter of the late Nathan Railsback. They are the parents of four children---Estella Y., Bessie L. Nora and Percy.
