Henry Otten, of Centre Township, Wayne Co., Ind., was born in Germany, Sept. 
27, 1827, and when twenty years of age came to the United States. He landed at 
Baltimore, Md., and from there went to Cincinnati, Ohio, and thence to Wayne 
County, Ind. In 1876 he bought his farm of 132 acres, where he now resides. He 
has a family of six children, three boys and three girls.
