He was reared on a farm and attended the common schools, completing his education at the Friends' high school of New Garden Township. Sept. 2, 1869, he was married to Almeda Baldwin, of Grant County. They have two children---Effie and Marietta. Two years after his marriage Mr. Trueblood moved to the place where he now resides. His farm contains seventy acres of well-cultivated land, and is located one mile southwest of Fountain City. Mr. Trueblood has been an active minister in the Society of Friends since 1882. His wife belongs to the same society.
