Elizabeth [VAN NUYS] WILEY, also Wayne co natives; Martin son of Edward & Nancy
[BRADEN] WILEY, from NC.  Edward died 17 May 1850 age 65; Nancy died 17 June
1875 age 81.  Martin WILEY m. Elizabeth VAN NUYS 24 Feb 1850, dau of Cornelius &
Matilda [HARRISON] VAN NUYS; 3 children: Nancy M. m. Jacob Polly, Cornelius E.
(our subject) and Abraham L., now an undertaker in Bethel.
 Martin died 1889 age 58, Elizabeth d 1895 age 60.
On 16 Oct 1880, Cornelius E. WILEY, our subject, m. Jessie HUNT dau of Frank &
Lydia [HARRIS] HUNT; four children: Charles T; Russel Martin; William Earl and
Amber.
